Prayer is a direct line to God where we can express our inner most gratitude, our fears and requests. 1 John 5:14-15 says, "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of Him."
Prayer can take place at any time in any place and by any number of people. It is not restricted by ability, language or time availability. At Reach Derby we believe in the power of prayer and hear regularly of the work that God is doing in our church. We’d love to encourage you to join in with the prayer life here by getting involved with at least one of the following:

We join with other groups across the city to pray a number of times year with City Vision and Derby City Mission.
The Farsi speaking community meet Thursday nights at The Brook Centre to worship, pray and have times of fellowship.
Prayer and worship nights, typically third Friday of every month. Meet together at 7.30pm in the Main Hall (youth, students or young adults)
Lent is the period of 40 days which comes before Easter. It's a time of reflection and preparation before Easter Sunday when we pray and fast to draw closer to God. We mark Lent at Reach every year.
