Advent

  • Community Church Derby (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Join us during Advent as we consider how our December lives and witness can be shaped by the patterns of the beginning of Jesus’ life and ministry, as presented in the Gospel of Mathew. We’ll look at how these contrast with those of Western culture at Christmastime as we prepare to celebrate God’s greatest gift and ask ourselves - how can we be distinct but not distant?

Parentalk

We are running a new course for parents of primary aged children at CCD. The course is called 'Parentalk' and was devised by Care for the Family, with themes that span six sessions lasting two hours.

Parentalk covers essential topics for parents of children up top the early teenage years from a variety of different backgrounds and family structures. It gives parents the opportunities to share their experiences, learn from each other and explore some essential parenting principles.
