Saltmine Theatre Company brings you the story of Sleeping Beauty as you’ve never heard it before...

It’s the royal event of the century - the King and Queen’s only daughter is turning eighteen and everyone is excited. Follow Princess Aurora as she meets a charming prince, a friendly gardener, magical fairies and much more as everyone heads to the woods for the biggest birthday celebration the kingdom has ever seen.

However somebody wants to crash the party, fulfill the curse spoken at the princess’ birth and throw Aurora’s dreams to the dust. Will the princess and her friends give in to the enchanted sleep or will they find the cure to break the curse?

Clap, celebrate, cry with laughter and discover how words can be our greatest gift... and... whatever you do... don’t fall asleep...

Join us during Advent as we consider how our December lives and witness can be shaped by the patterns of the beginning of Jesus’ life and ministry, as presented in the Gospel of Mathew. We’ll look at how these contrast with those of Western culture at Christmastime as we prepare to celebrate God’s greatest gift and ask ourselves - how can we be distinct but not distant?

Simplify Series

June / August

We regularly hear things like, "I'm too busy", "I feel stressed", "I don't have enough time", "I'm feeling overwhelmed", "I'm worried" so we are running a series through the summer inspired by Bill Hybels book, called 'Simplify', to understand how being overworked and out of balance can affect our physical health, relationships, work, and spiritual attitude and how we can take personal responsibility for prioritising our lives based on the things that matter most, not the things that are most urgent.
