What else do we do?
There are a few other things that we're involved with as a wider Youth team. To find out more about any of them please contact us. Here's a list of most of them:

Youth Alpha
This is about young people having a chance to find out who Jesus really is and how Christianity and real-life actually fit together. You get to ask the tough questions and chat through issues in a place where your views are respected. It's also a great place to make new mates and drink awesome smoothies and coffee.

Mentoring
This is about offering a young person a relationship of trust that will provide support, challenge and encouragement through the natural decision making processes of life. Both schools and government recognise the value of mentoring young people. We too recognise the importance of investing time, cheering young people on and giving them space to talk. Often people will meet for a coffee in town or after a church meeting. All our mentors are CRB checked and have received in-house training. Two of the team have also completed a nationally recognised training course on mentoring.  

Youth Band
The YB practices on Sunday afternoons, roughly once a fortnight and besides playing some awesome tunes (and creating hiphop/reggae/emocore remixes of 'Shine Jesus Shine'), we have a serious desire to serve God by developing our musical gifts. See Luke Smith or Simon Martin for more info...
