Small groups are the heartbeat of communitychurch.  

Our small groups all look to incorporate the following elements or 'DNA' ;
COMMUNITY - sharing lives centred on Jesus
WORSHIP - expressing lives laid down for Jesus
MISSION - reaching others with the love of Jesus
DISCIPLESHIP - becoming and making followers of Jesus

We recognise that today there are increasingly different cultural people groups within our church and in the city we seek to serve.  Therefore the key words for small groups within communitychurch are 'flexibility' and 'diversity'!  We actively encourage new and different expressions of and creative approaches to small groups to serve both our people and the people we seek to reach.  The message is simple, be creative, be flexible but remember the DNA of CWMD, this is what small groups are all about.

To help small group leaders ensure their groups are demonstration CWMD we aim to provide a wealth of resources on this website.  These range from simple games to deep discussions, relational inspiration to bible studies, worship songs to reflective activities.  You can access these resources through our resource centre.
