Throughoutthe spring we look in depth at the book of Isaiah. Adultery, broken promises, corruption, abuse. These are just some of the many issues that have marred the relationship between God and his people ever since he first called them out of obscurity. Yet the book of Isaiah offers us a fascinating insight into God’s remarkable response to this checkered history: in it we discover a God of unending love and patience, committed to making the relationship work at any cost to himself, and devoted to helping us become the people he always believed we could be...

9 May - 11 July
We are running two Alpha courses this year, one from May and another later in the autumn. We believe that everyone should have the chance to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and share their point of view; wherever they are in the world. The new Alpha series uses stories from some high profile christians like Bear Grylls, making the Alpha course more contemporary and refreshed.
Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement, which invites Christians around the world to pray between Ascension and Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus Christ. What started out as an invitation from the Archbishops’ of Canterbury and York in 2016 to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer. We will be engaging with this prayer initiative along with the global church
We regularly hear things like, "I'm too busy", "I feel stressed", "I don't have enough time", "I'm feeling overwhelmed", "I'm worried" so we are running a series through the summer inspired by Bill Hybels book, called 'Simplify', to understand how being overworked and out of balance can affect our physical health, relationships, work, and spiritual attitude and how we can take personal responsibility for prioritising our lives based on the things that matter most, not the things that are most urgent.
Big Church Day Out North
2 - 3 June
The Big Church Day Out North draws together tens of thousands of Christians from all over the UK and Europe to worship and celebrate all that is good. It's a camp for two nights at Capesthorne Hall and a one-of-a-kind expression of church unity that’s as vibrant and varied as its wonderful guests. The line up includes Bethel Music, Rend Collective, Switchfoot, Michelle Williams, Mary Mary, Casting Crowns, Tim Hughes and Worship Central, Jonathan and Melissa Helser, Gungor, Matt Maher and so many more...
We are part of a wider collection of churches Internationally called 'Salt and Light Ministries'. 2017 will be the final Transform as we respond to what God has been saying to us about His life and power breaking out in our 'Spheres' (Mark Mumford leads our Sphere in the UK). We want this event to be a springboard into the different and creative events that Spheres will be running in the coming years and look forward to many testimonies of transformation when we gather again for a national event in 2020.
We welcome John and Carol Arnott and Duncan and Kate Smith from Catch the Fire to minister to us. Their heart is to reach the world with Jesus through the sharing of our shared values, equipping people, and releasing them to bring revival to their nations. We have welcomed them many times to share with us prophetically and with the Father Heart ministry they carry. They are a gift to the body of Christ and we are excited about Wildfire II later this autumn.
